London- The Kati Roll Company + Covent Garden + M&S Cafe + Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

 

One of the greatest pleasures of travelling is trying out new cuisines. 

My family and I will pretty much go anywhere and eat anything.
I am not alone in my love for Indian food. My husband and son love it as much as I do. 

We enjoy Indian food because of its vibrant colours, rich aromas and complex flavours. 

A kati roll is a street-food dish originating from Kolkata, India 

and has became so popular it is now known as an Indian wrap. 

The rolls at Kati Roll Company were really flavourful but portions were slightly small.  

Perfect for grabbing a quick bite. Definitely try the mango lassi. It's sweet and refreshing making it dangerously addictive. Worth a visit if you already around the area. Again, come early to beat the hungry crowds. 

 

Old Indian movie posters add a rustic old world charm to the place and that vintage Bollywood feel.

Unda Chicken Roll- chicken tikka roll with layer of beaten eggs wrapped in paratha

 Shrimp Masala Roll- grilled tiger shrimp, marinated in coconut milk and spices wrapped in roti

 

Chicken Tikka Roll- grilled chicken cubes, marinated in yoghurt and spices wrapped in paratha

 We took a fun stroll in Covent Garden until it was time for the theatre. 

Enjoyed the singing, classical music, artisan goods, food, architecture and ice creams! 

This place is always buzzing with excitement.

Food, fashion and culture. Covent Garden has plenty to offer.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is perhaps Roald Dahl's best-known story and now this deliciously dark tale comes to life in a musical. It's a colourful ride to chocolate kingdom with heaps of fantastical happenings. 
Fun and nourishing. We absolutely loved it!  

It's time to get ready for great chocolate waterfalls and unwrap the chocolates together!
